The roadway was raised, and the waterway was removed to improve the intersection. The project began with the demolition of the existing asphalt, curbs, gutters, and waterway. A new storm drain system was installed to enhance drainage at the neighborhood entrance, with regrading to optimize flow. The intersection was elevated, and new concrete curbs and gutters were poured, including ADA-compliant ramps. Finally, new asphalt was paved, and updated thermoplastic striping was applied.
